Meet Daniel Lawrence, DDS
Dr. Lawrence is our hometown dentist as he was born and raised in Hopkins County. He graduated from Como-Pickton High School in 2001. He then began his college career at Texas Tech University where he received his Bachelor of Science Degree in Biology with a minor in Chemistry. He continued his education and received his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston in 2009.
He is a member of the American Dental Association and Texas Dental Association. Dr. Lawrence has served his community by providing dental care for the Can Help organization and Dentistry from the Heart.
Dr. Lawrence is a member of the First Baptist Church of Sulphur Springs. In 2011 and 2012, he was blessed with the opportunity to travel with the Mission Team to Nicaragua and provide dentistry to families without access to dental care. He has traveled with the Fruitful Harvest Ministry and Mission Team to the Philippines. And in 2015, Dr. Lawrence, Shannon, Jacy, and Mikayla traveled to Costa Rica along with Dr. Sandy Vaculik and the SMILE team to provide dental care in Costa Rica with the Servants of Hope Ministry.
In 2007, Dr. Lawrence married his high school sweetheart, Shannon Sartin, also a hometown girl. They have two daughters, Hallie and Sadie. Dr. Lawrence is an avid outdoorsman who enjoys hunting and fishing. Dr Lawrence also enjoys working on his farm where he raises red Angus cattle.
